Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Freelance Beauty Artist to deliver personalized in-store customer consultations and visual merchandising support at MAC retail locations. The role combines creative expertise and technical knowledge to execute high-quality beauty demonstrations, maintain visual presentation standards, and coordinate promotional events while building authentic customer relationships in a fast-paced retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations tailored to individual customer needs and preferences
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays across the retail floor to ensure brand presentation standards and competitive differentiation
• Support and coordinate in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement and brand loyalty
• Maintain active product knowledge of brand offerings, application techniques, and features to educate customers effectively
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a retail setting
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Legal authorization to work in the United States with proof of work eligibility upon hire
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach and bend regularly, and handle merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
• Capacity to work in a dynamic retail store environment with standard ambient conditions

Skills

Experience

Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred; demonstrated ability to provide customer service in a sales environment is essential.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal educational requirement specified for this role.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
