MAC seeks a highly skilled freelance beauty advisor to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences at Estée Lauder Companies retail locations in West Des Moines. The role combines creative artistry with customer consultations, visual merchandising execution, and in-store event support to drive brand engagement and maintain high presentation standards in a fast-paced prestige beauty environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
• Maintain active knowledge of MAC and Estée Lauder Companies brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States upon hire or interview
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs

Skills

Experience

Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service. Previous retail or beauty industry experience and familiarity with retail sales environments and customer-facing service execution are preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
