M·A·C seeks an on-call/freelance Beauty Advisor to provide makeup, skincare, hair or fragrance consultations and personalized in-store service, while supporting events and visual merchandising. Applicants with beginner-level expertise are welcome; makeup artistry certification or prior retail makeup experience is desirable, and expertise in fragrance, skincare and hair consultation is valued. Anticipated pay is CAD 18.85–21.73 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide makeup application, skincare advice, hair consultations or fragrance consultations, creating a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Use creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized customer service.
- Work with the team to create impact through in-store events.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards so the store stands out from competitors.
Qualifications
- Retail experience is preferred, but applicants with beginner-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in Canada if invited to interview.

Compensation
