Estée Lauder Companies seeks a highly skilled Freelance Beauty Advisor for its MAC brand at retail locations in Houston. This on-call freelance role combines creative expertise and customer-centric service to deliver personalized in-store consultations, execute visual merchandising displays, and support promotional events. The advisor will maintain product knowledge while collaborating with store teams to ensure optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
• Maintain active product knowledge of brand offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
• Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the retail floor
• Ability to reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs

Skills

Experience

Preferred experience in retail or beauty industry environments; familiarity with retail sales execution and customer-facing service delivery is advantageous.

Education

No specific formal education requirement stated; high school diploma or equivalent may be expected for general retail compliance.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
