A highly skilled freelance artist with M·A·C will deliver personalized in-store makeup application, skin care advice, hair consultations, and fragrance recommendations to create an inspirational, welcoming customer experience. The role combines creative and technical expertise with exceptional customer service, including support for in-store events and visual merchandising excellence to drive competitive differentiation in a prestige beauty environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup application, skin care consultations, and fragrance recommendations tailored to individual customer needs and preferences
- Deliver inspirational and authentic customer service that educates and delights guests in a high-performing retail environment
- Collaborate with team members on in-store events, product launches, and visual merchandising initiatives
- Maintain the store's visual presentation standards to ensure competitive brand positioning
- Operate retail point-of-sale software and process transactions accurately
- Work flexibly across retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical expertise in makeup artistry, skincare, fragrance, or hair consultation
- Proven capacity to deliver personalized, inspirational, and authentic customer service
- Availability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Proof of right to live and work in the United States
- Retail experience preferred but not required; beginner-level expertise welcome

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
