The Beauty Advisor combines make-up artistry and technical expertise to provide personalized customer service, support in-store events and uphold visual merchandising standards. This is a full-time regular role at Truworths Gateway, with 124 hours stated.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers, drawing on make-up artistry skills and technical expertise.
- Work as part of a high-performing team to create impact through in-store events.
- Ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards and stands out against competitors.
Qualifications
- A make-up artistry qualification or previous retail make-up experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proof of the right to live and work in South Africa must be provided if invited to interview.
