Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation on makeup application, skincare regimens, and product selection tailored to individual client needs
- Execute makeup services and beauty demonstrations to enhance customer experience and drive engagement
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets whilst maintaining MAC's luxury brand standards
- Build and cultivate long-term client relationships through personalised service and follow-up consultation
- Maintain salon presentation standards and collaborate with team members to uphold a premium retail environment
- Process transactions at point-of-sale and manage product inventory responsibly
Qualifications
- Formal cosmetology certification or equivalent educational qualification in beauty/makeup
- Proven experience in makeup application or makeup artistry training/certification
- Demonstrated experience in retail sales or client-facing service roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to translate client needs into product recommendations
- Passion for luxury beauty trends and product knowledge
Skills
Experience
Experience in retail sales or the beauty industry is preferred; training in makeup application or completion of beauty-related courses is highly valued. Entry-level candidates with strong passion for beauty and demonstrated sales aptitude will be considered.
Education
Cosmetology certification or equivalent qualification in beauty, cosmetics, or makeup artistry is strongly preferred. Formal training courses or certifications in makeup application are advantageous.
