The Beauty Advisor will deliver personalized, inspirational makeup consultations and in-store experiences at a MAC counter, combining creative and technical expertise with exceptional customer service. This role involves in-store makeup demonstrations, point-of-sale operations, visual merchandising, and participation in promotional events. Role & Responsibilities
- Provide creative and technical makeup application services using in-depth product knowledge and artistic expertise
- Deliver personalized, inspirational in-store consultations that educate customers on makeup techniques and products
- Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising within the department to enhance the retail environment
- Collaborate with the sales team to execute in-store events and promotional activities
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently during retail transactions
- Support inventory management and maintain store presentation standards consistently
Qualifications
- Certification or professional training in makeup artistry, or equivalent retail makeup experience
- Demonstrated creative and technical expertise in cosmetics application
- Strong ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
