Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup consultations and applications tailored to individual customer needs and skin types
- Demonstrate product knowledge across the full MAC color palette and product range
- Execute point-of-sale transactions and drive sales through consultative selling techniques
- Maintain counter cleanliness and stock organization to luxury retail standards
- Build and nurture client relationships to encourage repeat purchases and brand loyalty
- Participate in product training sessions and stay current with seasonal collections and techniques
Qualifications
- Proven retail or beauty counter sales experience
- Strong knowledge of makeup application techniques and color theory
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in beauty retail, makeup artistry, or cosmetics counter sales is preferred. Demonstrated ability to engage customers and drive sales in a luxury retail environment is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; beauty or cosmetics certification is a plus.
