A prestige beauty advisor role with MAC, part of The Estée Lauder Companies, delivering personalized customer consultations and in-store experiences across a high-performing retail environment. The position combines creative expertise with technical product knowledge to educate customers on makeup application, execute visual merchandising standards, and drive engagement through promotional events. This on-call/freelance assignment is staffed through Randstad Sourceright and ideal for dynamic, customer-focused professionals seeking progressive opportunities in luxury beauty retail.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and tailored beauty consultations to in-store customers
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement and brand awareness
• Maintain active knowledge of MAC brand product offerings, features, application techniques, and color theory to educate customers effectively
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a retail setting
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
• Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs

Skills

Experience

Demonstrated ability to deliver inspirational and personalized customer service. Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred, including familiarity with sales environments and customer-facing service execution.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (inferred based on retail position; no specific educational requirements stated in source).

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
