MAC seeks an on-call/freelance Beauty Advisor in Mississauga to deliver personalized makeup, skincare, hair, or fragrance consultations and customer service, support in-store events, and uphold visual merchandising standards. The role welcomes beginner-level expertise, with retail experience preferred and makeup artistry certification or prior retail makeup experience desirable.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-store consultations in makeup application, skincare, hair, or fragrance, creating a welcoming and inspiring customer experience.
- Contribute to in-store events as part of a high-performing team.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to help the store stand out from competitors.
- Deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
Qualifications
- Retail experience is preferred, but applicants with beginner-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise.
- Makeup artistry certification and/or prior retail makeup experience is desirable; beginner-level expertise is also welcomed.
- Expertise in fragrance, skincare, and hair consultations is valued, and applicants developing skills in these areas are also welcome.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in Canada if invited to interview.
