A skilled makeup artist required to deliver personalized, educational in-store experiences at MAC while combining technical expertise with customer engagement. The role encompasses makeup consultation and application, in-store event execution, and visual merchandising excellence to maintain competitive retail standards. Certification in makeup artistry or prior retail beauty experience is preferred, though ambitious candidates with amateur-level proficiency and demonstrated creative talent are encouraged to apply.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized makeup consultation and application services to customers
• Execute technical makeup application with high creative standards
• Participate in in-store events and promotional activities to drive sales impact
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and product displays to differentiate the store competitively
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately
• Educate customers on product benefits, techniques, and brand philosophy
• Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver seamless customer experiences

Qualifications

• Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated high-level creative and technical makeup expertise
• Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
• Right to live and work in Mexico

Skills

Experience

While certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is preferred, candidates with amateur-level makeup experience who demonstrate exceptional creative and technical ability are welcome to apply. The role offers comprehensive training and development within a prestige beauty organization.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in makeup artistry or professional makeup training is preferred but not required.
