Randstad is recruiting on-call freelance beauty advisors for M·A·C positions at Estée Lauder Companies retail locations in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role combines creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized, in-store beauty consultations and customer service while executing visual merchandising displays and supporting promotional events. Candidates must demonstrate inspirational customer service capabilities, flexibility to work retail hours including evenings and weekends, and valid work authorization in the United States.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and customized beauty consultations to in-store customers
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
• Maintain active knowledge of MAC and Estée Lauder brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to educate customers effectively
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide proof of legal work authorization in the United States upon hire
• Ability to regularly stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, and handle merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs

Skills

Experience

Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
