MAC seeks a freelance Beauty Advisor to provide makeup, skincare, hair or fragrance consultations and personalized in-store customer experiences. The role contributes to in-store events and visual merchandising standards; beginner-level expertise is welcome, and makeup artistry certification or prior retail makeup experience is desirable. On-call/freelance arrangement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-store experiences through makeup application, skincare advice, hair consultations or fragrance consultations.
- Work as part of a team to create impact through in-store events.
- Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards.
Qualifications
- Retail experience is preferred, though applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proof of the right to live and work in Australia must be provided if invited to interview.
