Assistant Store Manager opportunity with MAC at Estée Lauder Companies, supporting store operations and leading a sales team in a prestige beauty environment. The successful candidate will coach and develop Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets whilst collaborating closely with the Store Manager. This full-time role requires proven supervisory expertise, retail operations knowledge, and a passion for developing talent in a fast-paced, dynamic retail setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading and coaching Sales Associates to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Develop team members through mentoring and training to enhance performance and career progression
- Manage retail operations including inventory management, cash reconciliation, and point-of-sale administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures whilst maintaining high standards of store presentation
- Provide inspirational and personalized customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Manage retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events as scheduled
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics and prestige beauty
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with a track record of successfully coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and service targets
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Proven supervisory and coaching experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of developing sales teams and managing retail operations successfully.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; retail management certification or associate degree in business preferred.
