MAC Cosmetics, part of The Estée Lauder Companies, seeks an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Associates. The successful candidate will drive achievement of sales, customer service, and operational targets while providing authentic, personalized customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading and coaching the team of Sales Associates to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Mentor team members to develop their capabilities and reach their full potential
- Manage retail operations including inventory management, cash reconciliation, and point-of-sale procedures
- Provide inspirational and authentic personalized customer service
- Oversee retail hours including managing day and night shifts, weekend coverage, and special events
- Monitor and enforce store operational standards and compliance
- Coach and support team performance to drive sales and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics
- Previous supervisory experience with a demonstrated track record of coaching and mentoring others
- Strong retail operations expertise including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Proof of right to live and work in the country
