Estée Lauder Companies seeks an inspirational Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading and coaching sales associates to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets at a MAC counter or boutique. The successful candidate will combine proven supervisory and retail operations expertise with a passion for developing team members and delivering personalized customer service in the prestige beauty sector.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the sales team to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Coach and mentor sales associates to reach their full potential and deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Manage retail operations including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Maintain proficiency with retail point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office
- Work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Proven retail supervisory experience with a track record of coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Retail experience preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Right to live and work in Canada
Skills
Experience
Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty, with a demonstrated track record of coaching and mentoring team members to achieve sales and customer service targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant retail management or customer service training preferred.
