LVMH seeks Vice President of Group Strategic Sourcing in New York to lead North American procurement strategy, uniting 75+ brands with $20B+ regional revenue.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate strategically with Procurement representatives across brands to assess needs, champion procurement synergies, and design and execute impactful solutions
- Orchestrate and lead high-level steering committee meetings with key stakeholders including CFOs, Brand Presidents, HR leadership, and Procurement managers to secure collaboration for Group procurement projects
- Act as primary liaison with the Group Procurement team in Paris, leading seamless roll-out of global procurement solutions throughout North America
- Initiate and steer global procurement projects that align with LVMH's corporate strategy
- Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan for the region, monitoring successful implementation and outcomes
- Actively manage a portfolio of existing global and local procurement contracts, optimizing value and performance
- Oversee and enhance Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with key North American suppliers, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews and coordinating executive-level engagements
- Drive brand participation in Group contracts, regularly assessing and quantifying generated benefits and savings
- Proactively identify new opportunities for Group procurement solutions, leading the launch and management of RFPs and tenders
- Consistently inform and engage brands and Global management on procurement activities and results
- Lead the North American Procurement community in leveraging Artificial Intelligence to enhance productivity and uncover strategic opportunities
- Coordinate global initiatives including assessment and reporting on supplier social responsibility
- Design a comprehensive Procurement Team training program and develop best practices guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of progressive procurement experience with significant focus on indirect purchasing categories
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
- Proven management experience leading a team of professionals
- Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and develop mid-term strategic plans
- Proven ability to cultivate robust relationships with peers across affiliates and drive participation in Group initiatives
- Natural facilitator with demonstrated ability to build group consensus and drive collaborative outcomes
- Extensive experience working within multicultural organizations with nuanced understanding of American and European corporate cultures
- Experience within or demonstrated profound interest in the Luxury industry

Minimum 15 years of progressive procurement experience, with significant focus on indirect purchasing categories within complex, decentralized global organizations. Proven track record of leading procurement teams and driving strategic initiatives across multiple business units and geographies. Demonstrated success in multicultural environments with exposure to both American and European corporate practices.
