Supply Planning Manager at LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics in New York — lead supply planning, inventory optimisation and launch execution for premium fragrance & cosmetics brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define, monitor and optimize supply planning strategies to achieve target service levels while controlling inventory costs and minimizing air shipment reliance.
- Develop and report supply-chain KPIs (OTIF, Service Level Fulfillment, Presence Rate, Cuts) to Senior Management, HQ supply partners and local Brand stakeholders.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for service disruptions and lead continuous improvement initiatives to prevent recurrence.
- Manage weekly replenishment via DRP and orchestrate weekly and monthly planning routines, including S&OP alignment with local and central teams.
- Lead end-to-end execution and coordination of new product launches, translating allocation plans into actionable supply strategies and escalation of delay risks.
- Monitor consumption patterns and challenge forecast accuracy during critical launch windows (M1–M3), partnering with Forecaster Manager to adjust demand signals.
- Track and report novelty execution metrics (on-time delivery, consumption rates, air/sea ratio) and implement corrective actions to protect launch integrity.
- Champion inventory health by managing overstock, Days of Inventory/Coverage (DOI/DOC), proposing mitigation for obsolescence and supervising controlled destruction processes.
- Conduct monthly stock reviews, project inventory trajectories and communicate risks and P&L impact to Finance.
- Engage cross-functionally with French production teams, US warehouse operations and local Sales & Marketing to secure end-to-end visibility and activation of supply levers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Management or a related quantitative field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in supply planning, inventory optimization or demand planning within complex, fast-paced supply chains; luxury or cosmetics experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver continuous improvement actions that materially improve service or cost metrics.
- Demonstrated discretion handling confidential commercial and financial information.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence at HQ and local Brand levels.
- Fluency or working knowledge of French is a plus.

Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in supply planning, inventory optimization, demand planning or related supply chain functions; prior exposure to cosmetics, beauty or luxury supply chains is a distinct advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or a related quantitative discipline preferred.
