LVMH Beauty in New York seeks a Supply Chain Planning Intern to support demand forecasting, inventory management and process automation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day demand forecasting by analysing sales data, market trends and promotional plans to improve forecast accuracy.
- Support inventory management initiatives by tracking stock levels, identifying shortages or excess, and recommending corrective actions.
- Contribute to process‑transformation initiatives to streamline planning workflows and increase automation across the Supply Chain team.
- Enhance and automate existing tools (Excel, Power BI dashboards, planning trackers) and participate in exploratory work on AI‑enabled solutions.
- Perform data‑driven analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction, service‑level improvement or lead‑time optimisation.
- Potentially lead cross‑functional and/or cross‑brand improvement projects based on analytical findings.
- Gain exposure to end‑to‑end beauty supply chain operations, from production through finished‑goods distribution to point of sale.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with intellectual curiosity and a problem‑solving orientation.
- Proven proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups and data manipulation.
- Experience developing or using Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with ERP or planning systems (e.g., AX, Anaplan) and interest in machine learning applications is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where priorities evolve rapidly.

Beginner level; open to students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programmes. Relevant coursework, class projects or prior internships in supply chain, operations or analytics are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline.
