LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics seeks a Supply & Distribution Planner in Shanghai to manage supply, inventory and allocation across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels.
Role & Responsibilities
- Translate demand plans into validated supply requirements and secure timely inbound shipments to local warehouses for novelties and replenishment items.
- Optimize supply plans balancing service level targets, freight mix (RAMA/sea), logistics costs and regulatory constraints.
- Monitor inventory health—coverage days, excess/obsolete stock, shelf life, depreciation and destruction—and propose mitigation actions.
- Define and manage counter replenishment parameters and allocations by SKU and point of sale based on lifecycle, sell‑out performance and marketing priorities.
- Coordinate distribution of novelties and tight SKUs across B&M counters, wholesale partners and e‑commerce in collaboration with Marketing and Sales.
- Provide weekly allocation updates for launches and tight SKUs; perform monthly root‑cause analysis of over/under consumption and lead corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate ERP/POS SKU status (forecasts, supply, lifecycle, stock) and animate periodic logistics reviews with brand leadership and key clients.
- Foster proactive, cross‑functional communication between Supply, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, importation and warehouse teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or related discipline preferred.
- Proven ability to perform quantitative analysis and translate data into executable supply and allocation plans.
- Demonstrated experience working cross‑functionally with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High sense of ownership and responsibility with the capacity to lead issues to closure and to recommend operational improvements.
- Proficiency with ERP and POS systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills for modelling and reporting.
