KENZO Store Manager, Bruton Street, London — drive luxury retail performance and team excellence in our flagship boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Embody and communicate brand DNA and KENZO's creative vision to both the team and clientele, cultivating passion and pride in the maison's contemporary direction
- Implement and maintain visual merchandise guidelines across all areas of the store, ensuring consistency with brand standards and luxury presentation
- Enhance customer service protocols and oversee the quality of all client interactions to deliver an exceptional luxury retail experience
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team through coaching, monthly catch-ups, and bi-annual performance appraisals (P&CR), aligned with succession planning
- Drive sales performance and profitability by setting KPI targets collaboratively with the line manager and monitoring achievement against forecasts
- Manage inventory control, optimize stock levels, and conduct weekly rotative inventories and bi-annual stock takes to minimize shrinkage
- Monitor client books and aftersales care engagement to foster long-term customer loyalty and repeat business
- Analyze market trends in UK luxury retail (ready-to-wear and leather goods), track competitive positioning, and propose commercial action plans
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, UK retail legislation, security protocols, and health and safety requirements
- Submit weekly reports to senior management and maintain strong collaborative relationships with Paris headquarters and UK-based HR and Finance teams
Qualifications
- Degree-level education or above
- Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury retail management
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing and leading teams
- Strong knowledge of UK retail law, security, and health and safety legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and sales floor expertise
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver against tight deadlines
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury retail management, with at least 3 years of direct team leadership responsibility. Demonstrated expertise in driving sales performance, maintaining visual standards, and delivering exceptional customer service in an upscale retail environment.
Education
Degree level or above in any discipline.
