Stockist position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with Fashion Group. Full-time, on-site role managing inventory and warehouse operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and count stock items, recording data using computer systems
- Manage all shipments, transfers, and consignments
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, adhering to company policy
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock counts
- Preserve inventory accuracy and shrink rates within company standards
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, storage rooms, and supply areas
- Apply identification tags, numbers, lists, or labelling equipment to codify stock items for team accessibility
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations; organize deep cleaning of the warehouse monthly
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
- Provide assistance and direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers
- Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors
- Liaise with main couriers to pick up incoming stock or deliver parts to designated locations
- Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued
- Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess supply needs
- Ensure optimum after-sale service, accuracy, and integrity
- Coordinate with production in managing defective and damaged items
- Ensure correct use of systems to process repairs and liaise with local suppliers to guarantee service quality and speed
- Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock
- Maintain and contribute to the visual merchandising stock; communicate VM arrivals and unused props or mannequins
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or inventory management
- Proficiency in computer systems and inventory management software
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic accounting and mathematical competency
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Physical capability to lift, move, and handle merchandise regularly
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in stockroom operations, warehouse management, or inventory control within a retail or fashion environment. Proven track record of maintaining inventory accuracy and managing merchandise logistics.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training in warehouse management or inventory control is advantageous.
