Leading luxury house — Sourcing Intern in Shanghai. Internship supporting APAC Purchasing for indirect categories; Mandarin & English required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the APAC Purchasing team across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for indirect categories including IT, Retail, General Expenses, and Marketing & Communication.
  • Prepare purchasing documentation for bidding and tender processes (RFx) and assist in supplier proposal analysis and stakeholder consolidation.
  • Support supplier onboarding and due-diligence checks, and assist in Procure-to-Pay activities such as contract administration, payment follow-up and invoice processing.
  • Coordinate sourcing events and supplier meetings, including logistical organisation and on-site support during sourcing activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks and ad-hoc reporting requested by the Purchasing Manager; maintain accurate procurement records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above (or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's programme), ideally in Business Administration, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; French is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office—Excel and PowerPoint—and with PowerBi; familiarity with image and video editing tools.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, a proactive attitude and a keen desire to learn.
  • Available 4–5 days per week for a minimum six-month internship period.

Entry-level internship suitable for students or recent graduates; prior exposure to procurement or supply-chain practices is advantageous but not required.

Education
