LVMH Gaïa is the Group's interdisciplinary research organisation, established by LVMH to address environmental and technological innovation challenges across its Maisons. LVMH Gaïa seeks a Sensoriality & Neurosciences Intern in Paris to support multisensory research, panel work and methodology development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and conduct studies to characterise the sensorial properties of products and materials, providing scientific foundations for product evaluation.
- Perform bibliographic research and maintain an up-to-date state of the art on multisensory perception and related disciplines.
- Create, recruit and moderate sensory panels; manage participant logistics and ensure data quality during testing.
- Develop, pilot and implement innovative experimental methodologies and measurement protocols.
- Identify relevant external actors and stakeholders, schedule initial meetings and represent the team in preliminary exchanges.
- Collaborate with the Sensoriality & Neurosciences team under the guidance of a tutor; contribute to reporting and presentation of results.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s-level programme (Bac+4/5) in sensory sciences, cognitive science, neuroscience or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrable knowledge of sensory science and experience designing protocols and running sensory panels, preferably on multisensory products.
- Familiarity with emotional measurement techniques is a plus.
- Intellectual curiosity with the ability to translate research into business-relevant applications.
- Organised, rigorous, proactive and able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional-level command of English (mandatory).

Experience
Entry-level internship. Prior practical experience in designing sensory protocols and managing panels is preferred; prior exposure to emotional measurement techniques is advantageous.
Education
Enrolled in a Master's programme (M1/M2) in sensory sciences, cognitive sciences, neuroscience, or a related scientific discipline.

The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
