LVMH Gaïa seeks a Sensoriality & Neurosciences Intern in Paris to support multisensory research, panel work and methodology development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct studies to characterise the sensorial properties of products and materials, providing scientific foundations for product evaluation.
  • Perform bibliographic research and maintain an up-to-date state of the art on multisensory perception and related disciplines.
  • Create, recruit and moderate sensory panels; manage participant logistics and ensure data quality during testing.
  • Develop, pilot and implement innovative experimental methodologies and measurement protocols.
  • Identify relevant external actors and stakeholders, schedule initial meetings and represent the team in preliminary exchanges.
  • Collaborate with the Sensoriality & Neurosciences team under the guidance of a tutor; contribute to reporting and presentation of results.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s-level programme (Bac+4/5) in sensory sciences, cognitive science, neuroscience or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of sensory science and experience designing protocols and running sensory panels, preferably on multisensory products.
  • Familiarity with emotional measurement techniques is a plus.
  • Intellectual curiosity with the ability to translate research into business-relevant applications.
  • Organised, rigorous, proactive and able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Professional-level command of English (mandatory).

Experience

Entry-level internship. Prior practical experience in designing sensory protocols and managing panels is preferred; prior exposure to emotional measurement techniques is advantageous.
