Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute comprehensive strategies for assigned retail partners, establishing clear ambitions for sales, profit growth, and brand image enhancement
- Establish and monitor budget investments, trading terms, and commercial conditions to ensure profitability per account
- Negotiate annual commercial agreements and develop retailer-specific Joint Business Plans (JBPs), reviewing quarterly progress with retail partners
- Define retail and wholesale targets, review weekly performance metrics, and analyse sales forecasting data to drive strategic objectives
- Identify and mitigate business risks by anticipating market fluctuations and developing proactive mitigation proposals
- Build and maintain key relationships with retailer headquarters and senior store teams, positioning Givenchy as the leading brand in category
- Coordinate engagement plans across multiple retailer departments including Trading, Operations, Marketing, CRM, Online, and Supply Chain
- Secure appropriate allocation and sell-in for new product launches, monitoring sell-in and sell-through performance across all key projects
- Support, coach, and develop direct reports (Key Account Coordinator and Commercial Intern), setting annual objectives and providing regular feedback
- Lead cross-functional coordination to maximize retail opportunities and present sales strategy at internal conferences
- Liaise with sales field teams to identify staffing opportunities, monitor regional action plans, and track store performance and brand positioning
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' relevant sales experience, preferably within the beauty or luxury goods industry
- Proven track record as an experienced Key Account Manager or Senior Key Account Manager
- Deep understanding of the UK retail marketplace, particularly Boots and other premium department stores
- Demonstrated knowledge of and appreciation for the luxury goods sector
- Personal affinity and alignment with Givenchy brand values
- Strong experience working within cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Proficiency in producing trade marketing plans and commercial strategy documents
- Demonstrated senior management potential with strong personal impact and leadership presence
- Competence with MS Office applications and standard business software tools

Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience, with preference for candidates with proven background in the beauty or luxury retail sector. Should have demonstrated track record as an experienced Key Account Manager, with specific expertise in UK retail market dynamics, particularly major retailers such as Boots.
