LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics in Chuo‑Ku, Tokyo seeks a Senior HR Controlling Specialist to lead multi‑entity staff cost forecasting and HR reporting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead multi‑entity staff cost forecasting and budgeting for 4–6 legal entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment across all Perfumes & Cosmetics brands.
  • Design, refine and maintain forecasting frameworks that integrate payroll flows, regulatory and tax impacts, benefit schemes and business drivers.
  • Perform deep‑dive variance analysis (Actual vs Budget/Forecast) and deliver strategic insights and recommendations to HR and Finance leadership.
  • Own HR accruals and provisions (recruitment fees, paid holiday reserves, performance bonuses), ensuring accounting compliance and robust control.
  • Act as subject‑matter expert on labour cost drivers, advising stakeholders on the financial consequences of labour law, tax or benefits changes.
  • Manage monthly headcount reporting (starters, leavers, FTE, transfers) with commentary and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee HR reporting processes for internal audiences, P&C HQ and LVMH Group, guaranteeing timeliness, data integrity and version control.
  • Maintain HR scorecards and KPI analysis (absence, overtime, turnover), identifying trends and recommending operational responses.
  • Drive reporting automation and multi‑entity optimisation using Power Query, Power Pivot and data modelling techniques.
  • Lead HR database governance and data quality initiatives; standardise cost centres, analytical dimensions and employee master data across entities.
  • Spearhead process simplification, standardisation and automation projects to reduce manual tasks, strengthen controls and improve forecast reliability.
  • Evaluate and implement digital and AI‑enabled solutions to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting cadence and data management.
  • Coordinate data submissions to external remuneration survey vendors and respond to ad‑hoc benchmarking or audit requests.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in Finance, FP&A or Controlling with substantial exposure to HR controlling and payroll cost structures.
  • University degree (any major).
  • Business‑level English and Japanese (both mandatory).
  • Proven experience working across multiple legal entities and interacting with senior HR and Finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable track record in forecasting, accrual calculation and variance analysis within a complex organisational environment.
