LVMH Senior Director Accounting & Controlling
LVMH Inc. seeks a Senior Director Accounting & Controlling in New York to lead accounting, close, and controlling for North American legal entities.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting and controlling function for LVMH Inc., overseeing the monthly and quarterly close, budgets, forecasts and strategic planning for 56 legal entities (holdings, real estate, investments).
- Produce accurate reporting and analysis of financial income/expense, balance sheet movements and cash flow; present insights to senior management and LVMH Paris consolidation teams.
- Manage equity rolls and analyze dividend distribution and restructuring opportunities across US entities; coordinate M&A and restructuring activity with Tax and Treasury.
- Design and implement accounting and reporting frameworks for reorganizations, disposals, acquisitions and other strategic transactions; liaise with external M&A and real estate advisors.
- Own the internal control environment in partnership with Risk Management and Ethics & Compliance, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and external reporting requirements.
- Drive process optimisation and deployment of new accounting technologies to increase efficiency, control and reliability across the entity portfolio.
- Negotiate and analyse rent structures for affiliate office and retail properties owned by LVMH Inc.
- Provide leadership, coaching and performance management for a team of six finance professionals and build strong working relationships with LVMH brand finance teams regionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated leadership in corporate accounting or controlling.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS accounting and strong technical accounting capability.
- Experience supporting M&A, restructurings and multi-entity consolidations.
- Proven ability to operate in a matrixed, multilingual, and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills; high integrity and professional drive.
- Experience in retail, wholesale or luxury fashion is a strong plus; knowledge of French is an advantage.
