The Senior Accounts Payable Accountant reviews Opex and Capex transactions and travel and expense payments for policy compliance, posts payables vouchers and accruals, prepares monthly reports, tracks input VAT invoices, supports AP RPA projects, and assists with the annual statutory audit. The role is full-time and on-site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Review purchase order and non-purchase-order Opex and Capex transactions with supporting documents for compliance with procurement policy.
- Review travel and expense payments for compliance with the T&E policy.
- Post accounts payable vouchers and accruals.
- Prepare monthly reports covering T&E, accounts payable aging, cash flow, and balance reconciliations.
- Track outstanding input VAT invoices monthly.
- Support accounts payable RPA projects.
- Assist with the annual statutory audit.
- Handle other ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
- Hands-on knowledge of IFRS and the PRC accounting and taxation system.
- Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA accounting systems is advantageous.
- Good PC skills, including Microsoft applications and advanced Excel skills.
