Role & Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end accounts payable processes: invoice coding, validation, posting and payment runs for vendors, travel and advances, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Process and reconcile employee expense claims (automated and manual) and corporate credit card transactions.
• Maintain vendor master data, manage vendor relationships and resolve account discrepancies.
• Perform fixed asset tracking, depreciation and monitor leasing/rental agreements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Prepare Intrastat returns and support VAT, corporate tax (CIT) and withholding tax (WHT) filings and statutory accounting books.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations to support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings.
• Support financial reporting and preparation of management information; assist with statutory financial statement tasks as required.
• Participate in accounting system projects (e‑invoicing, ERP/SAP enhancements): contribute to UAT, data migration, documentation and end‑user training.
• Strengthen and monitor internal controls across accounting cycles and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in accounting roles with exposure to AP, tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Fluent Spanish (C1) and English (C1); French language skills are a plus.
• Proven experience with SAP and other ERP/accounting systems; strong Office 365 proficiency.
• Excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and train users on new processes.

Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands‑on accounts payable, reconciliations, fixed assets and involvement in tax compliance and system implementation or ERP projects.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or a closely related discipline.
