LVMH seeks Product and Environmental Quality Manager in Paris. 10+ years experience managing environmental compliance, supply chains, and sustainability frameworks.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor LWG certification programs for tanneries and oversee responsible leather supply chain practices with associated audits
- Set and implement ZDHC targets including MRSL protocols across all group divisions and manage chemical compliance frameworks
- Update, maintain, and execute the LVMH Product Restricted Substances List for fashion, leather goods, watches, and jewelry activities
- Select testing laboratories and administer testing programs to ensure compliance with chemical and pollution standards
- Monitor hazardous substances and consolidate data across all LVMH business activities; track water and soil pollution metrics
- Represent the group before industry committees and regulatory bodies including Comité Colbert, ZDHC, and GFA
- Monitor evolving environmental regulations and adapt compliance procedures accordingly
- Collaborate with individual Maisons' compliance teams to ensure consistent implementation of environmental standards
- Provide technical support to suppliers on environmental requirements and sustainable practices
- Prepare and consolidate annual environmental reporting and performance data
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, or supply chain management
- Fluent in English and French; Italian language skills appreciated
- Comprehensive knowledge of environmental regulatory frameworks and their application to luxury manufacturing
- Demonstrated expertise in chemicals compliance, restricted substance lists, and pollution monitoring
- Strong understanding of leather production processes and supply chain certification standards
- Experience working with international environmental standards and industry initiatives
