Overview

LVMH Recherche is the research and innovation centre serving the LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics branch, delivering scientific and technological advances to the Group’s maisons. Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the olfactory evaluation team in preparing and following fragrance concentrate trials for cosmetic products (skincare and make‑up).
  • Implement fragrance concentrates into cosmetic bases and prepare samples for sensory assessment.
  • Conduct olfactory assessments and monitor olfactory stability over time.
  • Draft concise technical summaries, annotations and reports using the team’s internal documentation tools.
  • Perform competitive monitoring of new cosmetic launches: organise internal olfactory evaluation sessions, synthesise sensory descriptions and produce olfactory mapping to present results.
  • Contribute to cross‑functional activities within the Olfactory Evaluation team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bac+3 to Bac+5 programme in chemistry, perfumery, or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • Solid understanding of olfactory families and common perfumery raw materials.
  • Strong organisational skills, rigor and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an aptitude for collaborative, team‑based work.
  • Creative sensibility and confidence in presenting and visualising information.

Experience
