LVMH Gaïa — Materials Sustainability Intern in Paris (6-month internship, hybrid) starting Sept 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate reference materials using an environmental assessment tool to determine material environmental profiles.
  • Update and adapt the assessment tool for different material families and specific applications.
  • Contribute to the digitalisation of the assessment tool and ensure the quality and robustness of collected data.
  • Perform bibliographic studies and conduct critical analysis of alternative environmental assessment and ecodesign methodologies.
  • Document findings and collaborate with the Innovative Materials team under the supervision of a tutor.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s-level programme (Bac+4/5) in Materials Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies (ACV/LCA).
  • Familiarity with circularity strategies and ecodesign; knowledge of the regulatory environment on these topics is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills, rigor, adaptability and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent written and spoken English (mandatory); interest in luxury sector projects.
