Role & Responsibilities
- Manufacture a broad range of cosmetic products (perfumes, lipsticks, creams, serums) according to production plans and batch recipes.
- Perform raw-material weighings and all operations required for controlled batch preparation.
- Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with established operating procedures and safety rules.
- Compile and maintain complete batch dossiers and manufacturing records.
- Execute in-process sampling and self-checks; ensure conformity with Good Manufacturing Practices (BPF) and related procedures.
- Contribute technical expertise during industrial scale-up (transpositions) and in drafting or refining standard operating procedures.
- Propose process improvements and optimisations for production and operating modes.
- Train and accompany new hires at helper and intermediate preparator levels.
- Carry out all required IT operations to support the manufacturing process (weighing of raw materials, MP reconciliation, in‑stock entry of bulk, release of bulks within coordinated flows, decision to use when T0 control is conformant).
- Ensure accuracy of computerized stock records.
- Maintain production, control equipment and premises, including cleaning of materials used during manufacture.
- Apply environmental and safety instructions; identify and report actual or potential environmental and safety risks.
Qualifications
- BTS in Chemistry, CQP Ouvrier de Fabrication des Industries Chimiques (OFIC) or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of hazards associated with handling hazardous chemical products and adherence to hygiene and safety rules.
- Solid understanding and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (BPF).
- Proficiency with standard office and production IT tools (Excel, Word) and ideally SAP.
- Capacity to train and mentor new team members and to document procedures accurately.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in chemical, food or cosmetics manufacturing, with practical exposure to batch production, industrial transpositions and adherence to GMP/BPF.
Education
BTS (Chemistry) or CQP Ouvrier de Fabrication des Industries Chimiques (OFIC) or equivalent.
