LVMH Fragrance Brands seeks Logistics Manager in Milan to oversee supply chain operations, manage 3PL providers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management, ensuring service continuity and reliability
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carriers, serving as the primary operational contact and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor, analyze, and report on logistics performance, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency
- Support and contribute to logistics evolution initiatives and transformation projects, including the design, implementation, and stabilization of new processes, tools, and operating models
- Drive continuous improvement efforts across logistics activities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize service quality
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to ensure effective system integration and optimal use of logistics-related technology, balancing project demands with ongoing operational stability
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with health, safety, security, quality, and regulatory standards
- Support budget management for logistics activities, monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for financial optimization
Qualifications
- Significant experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain operations, with a proven track record in managing complex operations or contributing to supply chain projects
- Strong operational knowledge combined with project management capabilities and experience in managing external logistics providers
- Good understanding of logistics systems and process integration
- Highly analytical, organized, and effective communicator capable of navigating a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
- Experience in luxury, FMCG, retail, or international distribution environments is advantageous
