LVMH Fashion Group Middle East seeks a Logistics Coordinator to join the operations team based in Dubai, reporting to the Head of Operations. The role coordinates multi-modal international freight and white-glove logistics across CELINE, GIVENCHY, LOEWE, Kenzo, and FENDI for the GCC region. The Coordinator manages luxury retail freight forwarding, exotic materials and CITES compliance, Saudi Arabia SABER registration, beauty and fragrance regulatory clearance, customs management, and boutique operations alignment, whilst compiling shipment reports and KPIs for brand stakeholders.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-modal international freight operations with emphasis on air freight; partner with white-glove 3PL providers for events and negotiate rates and lead times
- Monitor daily transport expeditions covering inbound and outbound flows; ensure correct shipment execution from planning through final delivery
- Detect, record, and resolve transport incidents such as delays, failed deliveries, damages, or service deviations; coordinate with carriers and internal teams for agile responses
- Serve as regional subject matter expert for import and export of luxury goods containing restricted materials (exotic leathers, specific wood elements); coordinate CITES application, tracking, and clearance
- Manage Saudi Arabia SABER compliance workflow; ensure correct registration of apparel, footwear, and accessories; coordinate with testing bodies for Certificates of Conformity and issue Shipment Certificates
- Oversee regulatory clearance for cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance lines; coordinate with Ministry of Health (MOH) and local municipalities for product registration, ingredient compliance, and health certificate clearance
- Direct customs clearance activities across major regional airports; manage duty exemption applications, free zone regulations, and complex temporary imports/re-exports for events
- Work closely with Boutique Managers and Visual Merchandising to synchronize logistics arrivals with commercial seasonal launches and promotion calendars
- Manage, compile, and present comprehensive shipment reports and performance KPIs to brand stakeholders to evaluate boutique operational efficiency and stock availability
- Review and validate transport invoices according to agreed rates; manage discrepancies and support accurate cost allocation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of logistics or supply chain experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and workflows
- Profound practical knowledge of CITES regulations, permits, and documentation requirements for exotic skins and luxury goods
- Thorough understanding of Dubai trade system, GCC Customs laws, and Harmonized System (HS) codes for fashion textiles and luxury accessories
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP, CEGID, or related retail ERP/WMS platforms
- Fluent in English; additional languages highly advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
