LVMH Watches & Jewelry seeks Jewelry Repair Technician in Tokyo. Permanent on-site role for skilled artisan with 5+ years experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair jewelry using designated parts, equipment, and tools according to established protocols
- Perform comprehensive jewelry repairs including engraving, resizing, polishing, parts adjustment and replacement, stone setting, reshaping, and cleaning
- Confirm the appropriateness of required repair services and generate accurate repair estimates
- Execute repairs to exacting brand quality standards and specifications
- Complete assigned tasks with required productivity, speed, and accuracy within allocated timeframes
- Maintain meticulous records of repair progress and ensure transparent communication with internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Graduation from a jewelry technical school or equivalent formal jewelry education program
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in jewelry repair or production operations
- Demonstrable expertise in fine jewelry repair techniques and restoration methods
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements and commitment to internal procedures and protocols
- Proven ability to maintain consistent quality standards when handling delicate, high-value items
