LVMH Paris intellectual property law internship (6 months, July 2027). Support IP portfolio management across luxury brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor intellectual property portfolios (trademarks, designs, domain names) for LVMH maisons in collaboration with patent and trademark counsel
- Conduct trademark availability searches and prior art searches for designs
- Validate new product launches and analyse associated intellectual property risks
- Draft and review collaboration agreements, copyright licences, and related contracts
- Support pre-litigation and litigation management, including success assessments, cease-and-desist letters, settlement protocols, and legal memoranda
- Perform legal watch and intelligence gathering on intellectual property developments
- Conduct jurisprudential research and prepare legal notes and analysis
- Participate in intellectual property audit and compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a law degree programme with specialization in intellectual property
- Strong written communication and drafting abilities
- Proficiency in legal databases and standard office software tools
- Fluent in English
- Collaborative team mindset and strong interpersonal skills
Skills
Experience
Prior internship or experience in an intellectual property law firm or corporate IP department is advantageous but not required. This is an entry-level position suited for law students with foundational knowledge of IP law.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a law degree with a specialization or advanced coursework in intellectual property law.
