The Internal Control Intern supports the implementation and continuous improvement of LVMH Beauty’s internal control framework in Spain, working with the Internal Control team and local business functions across financial, operational, retail, and ethics controls. The role is a full-time internship requiring an agreement with the candidate’s university for at least 6 months.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the execution, follow-up, and continuous improvement of LVMH Beauty’s internal control framework across financial, operational, retail, and ethics controls.
- Support internal audit processes, including following up on open findings and coordinating the implementation of action plans with relevant teams.
- Support business units with local internal control needs, from policy updates to control-related queries, ensuring alignment with the Group’s global guidelines.
- Support SAP access management and ensure proper segregation of duties.
- Assist in developing and delivering internal control training and awareness programmes tailored to the local organisation.
- Apply and complement theoretical knowledge, develop professional competencies, and gain practical experience through assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, or a related field.
- Able to sign an internship agreement with their university for at least 6 months.
- Around 1 year of prior experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, or related areas; prior exposure to retail or luxury environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Analytical, rigorous, and detail-oriented.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable team player.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Motivated by control remediation, action plan follow-up, and audit coordination.
