LVMH seeks an Intellectual Property Law Intern for the 8th arrondissement office in Paris, France (July–December 2027)
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain intellectual property rights portfolios (trademarks, design registrations, domain names) for luxury brands in collaboration with external IP counsel
- Conduct trademark availability searches and design state-of-the-art research
- Validate new product launches and analyze associated intellectual property risks
- Draft, review, and refine contracts including collaboration agreements, copyright licenses, and related IP documentation
- Manage and monitor pre-litigation and litigation matters, including success analysis, cease-and-desist letters, settlement agreements, and legal opinion review
- Conduct ongoing legal monitoring of intellectual property developments and regulatory changes
- Research case law and jurisprudence; prepare analytical briefs and memoranda
- Assist in conducting intellectual property audits across the group
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a law degree programme with specialization in intellectual property
- Proficiency in legal databases and standard office IT tools
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Skills
Experience
Beginner-level experience; prior internship in an intellectual property law firm or in-house IP department is advantageous but not required
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a law degree with intellectual property specialization
