LVMH Intellectual Property Law Intern, Paris (8ème arrondissement), January–June 2027. Support IP protection across luxury Maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor intellectual property rights portfolios (trademarks, designs, domain names) for Maisons in collaboration with industrial property counsel
- Conduct trademark availability searches and product name clearances, and perform prior art searches for designs
- Validate new product launches and analyse associated intellectual property risks
- Draft and review contracts including collaboration agreements, copyright licences, and related legal instruments
- Participate in pre-litigation and litigation management, including success assessments, cease-and-desist letters, and settlement protocols
- Conduct intellectual property legal surveillance and monitor regulatory developments
- Research case law and prepare legal memoranda on intellectual property matters
- Participate in intellectual property compliance audits across Maisons
Qualifications
- Enrolled student in law with specialization in intellectual property
- First experience in a law firm or in-house legal setting is advantageous
- Prior internship in intellectual property is advantageous
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency with legal databases and standard office software
Skills
Experience
First experience or entry-level background in intellectual property or law firm practice; students and recent graduates are eligible.
Education
Currently enrolled in a law degree programme with a specialization in intellectual property; advanced studies (Master's level) in intellectual property preferred.
