LVMH seeks an Indirect Sustainable Purchasing Apprentice in Paris (8th) — apprenticeship starting Sep 2026, 12–24 months, supporting group sustainable sourcing.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Indirect Sustainable Sourcing in rolling out sustainable purchasing initiatives across indirect spend categories (marketing & communication, transport & logistics, retail operations, etc.).
  • Participate in risk mapping for indirect categories and liaise with Category Managers and Maison stakeholders to identify sustainability risks and opportunities.
  • Assist supplier engagement programmes: schedule and conduct meetings and interviews, manage third‑party relationships and follow up on supplier sustainability roadmaps.
  • Contribute to the roll‑out and contract follow‑up of green energy purchasing strategies, coordinate yearly business reviews with key partners and monitor defined energy KPIs.
  • Help animate cross‑Maison coordination activities (meetings, communications, Teams channel) and contribute to disruptive efficiency initiatives for indirect spend categories.
  • Prepare, coordinate and run internal training activities for the Purchasing Academy, update training materials (decks, leaflets), and report on training performance and participation.
  • Draft and maintain reporting tools, support purchasing policy development and organise events related to Purchasing and Sustainability.
  • Collaborate closely with sourcing teams located in Paris, Shanghai, Tokyo and the USA to ensure global alignment.

Qualifications

  • Enrolment in a Master’s programme (Engineering, Business, Purchasing, Sustainability or equivalent) suitable for a work‑study/apprenticeship placement starting September 2026.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; sociable and attentive to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with accuracy in working with figures and databases.
  • Hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently in a complex, international environment.
  • Capacity to prioritise and manage multiple projects with integrity and discretion.
  • Fluent in French and English; Italian is a plus.

Experience

Beginner level — suitable for candidates with little or no professional experience; relevant internships or prior exposure to procurement, sustainability or sourcing projects are an advantage.

Education
