Nuti Ivo Group seeks HR Director in Florence, Italy to lead talent strategy, savoir-faire preservation, and LVMH integration across five tannery entities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an integrated HR strategy aligned with business objectives across five entities, overseeing recruitment, training, career development, compensation, administration, and employee relations
  • Harmonize HR policies and practices across the group while respecting local business needs and Italian labour law requirements
  • Map rare and essential technical leather-related savoir-faire and design ambitious succession planning and knowledge transfer programs for technical and leadership positions
  • Design and deploy talent management programs to enhance employee skills, foster specialized expertise, and establish mentorship and apprenticeship initiatives for craftsmanship transmission
  • Oversee performance management processes, organizational design optimization, and competitive compensation and benefits strategies
  • Lead human resources compliance efforts, HR information system evolution, and consolidated reporting (KPIs, dashboards) across all entities while contributing to LVMH Group HR reports
  • Manage employee relations and social partnerships, negotiate company agreements compliant with Italian national collective agreements for the leather industry, and promote constructive social dialogue
  • Serve as primary HR contact and support for other LVMH tanneries in Italy, participating in harmonization of HR practices and sharing best practices across the network

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in human resources, labour law, management, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience as an HR Director or similar senior role in multi-site, industrial environments
  • Significant experience in tanning, leather production, luxury goods, or manufacturing sectors with strong artisanal components
  • Excellent command of Italian labour law and employee relations practices
  • Proven expertise in savoir-faire preservation, succession planning for technical roles, and knowledge transfer in artisanal contexts
  • Demonstrated capability in skills development, talent management, and organizational transformation initiatives
  • Proficiency in HR administration, compensation policies, and benefits structuring
