LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics seeks a Temporary Human Resources Coordinator in Sydney to manage HR, payroll and recruitment administration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Administer day-to-day HR operations and maintain accurate employee records across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Prepare and validate timesheet files and support fortnightly (Australia) and NZ payroll cycles; coordinate superannuation and monthly payroll tax calculations.
  • Operate and maintain HRIS and time & attendance systems to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Manage recruitment administration: create job postings, schedule interviews, liaise with candidates and prepare employment contracts and pre-employment checks.
  • Provide first-level employee relations support, respond to general HR queries and assist with employee relations processes.
  • Contribute to HR projects, process and system improvements, and regular reporting including monthly headcount and annual HR reports.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety obligations and support compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HR coordination, HR administration or a comparable role with exposure to payroll processes.
  • Practical knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll regulations and modern awards (GRIA, Storage Award desirable).
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll and T&A systems (experience with Tanda, Elmo and Datacom highly regarded).
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline preferred; knowledge of employment law in a retail context is an advantage.

Experience
