LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics seeks HRIS & Excellence Engineer in Shanghai to lead SAP SuccessFactors implementation and HR operational transformation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of the global Core HR platform (SAP SuccessFactors), acting as primary bridge between local business needs, global IT standards, and outsourcing vendors
  • Oversee data flow from local source systems into the global core and downstream to LVMH Talent Connect Ecosystem (Rise, Hi, 360°) and Active Directory, ensuring seamless synchronization
  • Develop and execute robust data migration strategies with strict governance protocols ensuring accuracy, consistency, and GDPR/PIPL compliance
  • Coordinate SIT/UAT testing, manage vendor deliverables, and drive user adoption through comprehensive training and hyper-care support
  • Oversee daily operation and continuous improvement of local HR systems, identifying pain points and implementing targeted optimizations
  • Manage relationships with local HRIS vendors, ensuring SLAs are met and issues are resolved promptly
  • Evaluate current local HR tech stack and design future-proof architecture creating an integrated ecosystem aligned with global standards and local nuances
  • Develop mid-to-long-term HRIS roadmap identifying opportunities for automation, advanced analytics, and self-service enhancements
  • Assess and recommend new tools or modules to fill functional gaps, leading vendor evaluation ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective
  • Map end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (Onboarding, Mid-cycle Changes, Offboarding), defining boundaries between system automation and manual operational tasks
  • Redesign operational workflows to maximize system utilization, ensuring compensation changes automatically trigger correct payroll codes and benefit eligibility updates
  • Establish validation checkpoints at each stage of employee lifecycle to ensure data integrity from offer letter through payroll file
  • Update SOPs and train HR operations teams on leveraging system features for C&B tasks, reducing reliance on offline spreadsheets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Human Resources
  • 5–8 years of experience in HRIS implementation, process engineering, or HR operations excellence
  • Proven track record mapping and optimizing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes within complex system environments
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar global ERP implementations (highly preferred)
  • Strong process engineering capability to map As-Is and To-Be processes, identify bottlenecks, and design automated workflows
  • Deep understanding of Core HR, Attendance, and Payroll system interactions (APIs, flat files, middleware)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables); SQL, Power BI, or Tableau experience strongly advantageous
  • Solid understanding of local labor laws and statutory requirements to ensure system logic compliance
  • Analytical mindset to deconstruct complex operational problems into logical system components
  • Extreme attention to detail in data logic and system configurations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills bridging technical and business perspectives
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Mandarin Chinese required
