LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics seeks an HR Intern (12-month fixed term) in London to support recruitment, onboarding, and employee administration across Head Office and retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Talent Acquisition team in recruiting interns, including screening, shortlisting, and conducting preliminary telephone interviews
- Organize and coordinate logistics for intern assessment centres
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and related onboarding documentation
- Conduct right-to-work verification checks in compliance with employment law
- Manage onboarding processes and first-day inductions, including HR system updates and tracker maintenance
- Process ad hoc data requests and reference checks
- Prepare employee change documentation, including salary increase and promotion letters
- Maintain and update employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Support lower-level Employee Relations cases and family-friendly policy administration
- Manage the Retail HR Support inbox and escalation procedures
- Update and maintain the Employee Relations tracker
- Research external training courses, platforms, and industry best practices
- Coordinate internal LVMH training communications, from invitation through feedback and follow-up
- Organize committee meetings, focus groups, and events aligned with the DEI strategy
- Support the broader HR team with project-based work and centres of excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with ability to anticipate HR support needs
- Proficiency in video editing and graphic design tools (e.g. Premier Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent)
- Capability to create visually appealing content and graphics
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Confident verbal and written communicator with professional presentation skills
- Creativity in approaching HR communications and internal initiatives
Skills
Experience
Beginner level; no prior HR experience required. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in Human Resources, talent management, and employee relations.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline. Alternatively, candidates with equivalent professional certifications or demonstrable HR interest are encouraged to apply.
