LVMH Fashion Group HR Generalist position in New York offering $75,000–$95,000 annually, hybrid work, full-time role supporting employee relations and HR operations across North America.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing guidance on conflict resolution and employee relations matters
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into workplace issues including harassment, discrimination, and policy violations, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies
  • Facilitate mediations and discussions to resolve workplace disputes effectively and maintain confidential documentation of all cases
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; educate employees and managers on company policies and legal requirements
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Support managers in addressing performance issues, including drafting performance improvement plans and guiding disciplinary actions
  • Collaborate with managers on performance reviews and goal-setting processes
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees and conduct exit interviews to identify trends and reduce turnover, particularly in retail
  • Support recruitment and talent acquisition processes, including internal transfers and promotions
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases; prepare HR-related reports and analytics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 3–4 years of human resources experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, luxury, or customer-focused environments
  • Demonstrated experience supporting employee relations matters and workplace investigations
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
