HR Advisor at Fashion Group in London, providing HR generalist support for UK and European luxury retail operations. Full-time, permanent role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the brand's retail population across the UK and Europe, ensuring proactive communication and early identification of HR priorities
- Provide professional HR advice and support to employees and stakeholders on employment relations and HR matters, maintaining expertise in UK employment law and HR best practices
- Manage recruitment of sales teams in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, overseeing contractual documentation for appointments, terminations, and employment variations
- Update and maintain talent databases and tools to support succession planning and talent pipeline management
- Identify development and training needs across the maisons populations and coach retail employees on career development pathways
- Partner with the Payroll Specialist to prepare accurate payroll processing and generate regular management information reports on sickness absence, performance management, headcount evolution, and salary analysis
- Participate in performance and career review processes, individual compensation reviews, and annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles for the retail portfolio
- Actively drive cross-brand HR improvement projects and serve as an ambassador for Fashion Group core values and beliefs
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in HR
- CIPD qualification highly desirable
- Strong knowledge and practical application of UK employment law
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload and manage deadlines under pressure
- Keen interest in fashion and lifestyle sectors with ability to represent the brands authentically
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years' professional experience in human resources, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, talent development, and compensation management within a professional or retail environment.
Education
CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualification is highly desirable; bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline is advantageous.
