Fashion Group HR Advisor in London — luxury retail HR generalist supporting UK and European operations. Full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with retail populations across the UK and Europe, ensuring early identification of HR issues and priorities
- Maintain thorough knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, ensuring all legislative changes are accurately reflected in company policies and documentation
- Provide professional HR advice and support to employees and key stakeholders on employment relations and HR matters
- Manage recruitment of sales teams in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and maintain talent databases and tools
- Oversee preparation and authorisation of contractual documentation for appointments, terminations, and variations of employment
- Make recommendations on development and training needs; coach retail employees on career development and identify succession plans for top talent
- Partner with Payroll Specialist to prepare payroll and prepare regular management information reports on sickness absence, performance management, headcount evolution, and salary comparisons
- Participate in annual budgeting, reforecasting, Performance & Career Review processes, and Individual Compensation Review cycles
- Drive projects to continuously improve HR function across Fashion Group brands and act as ambassador for core values
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a generalist or business partner capacity
- Strong knowledge of UK and European employment law
- Experience in luxury retail or fashion industry preferred
- Proficiency in HR information systems and databases
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of HR experience, ideally including exposure to employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, and project management within a retail, fashion, or luxury goods environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CIPD qualification or equivalent professional HR certification is advantageous.
