LVMH Institute internship in Haute Tailoring — full-time apprenticeship in Rome with Accademia Alta Sartoria Massoli and Maison Fendi.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete a 1,550-hour vocational programme: 805 hours of theory and atelier training at Accademia Alta Sartoria Massoli and 745 hours of supervised in-company stage at Maison Fendi or Sartoria Massoli.
- Execute haute couture garment construction tasks including manual and automated cutting, assembly, fitting and finishing under tutor supervision.
- Set up, adjust and perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and atelier equipment required for specific tailoring operations.
- Apply technical pattern-cutting, hand-sewing and couture finishing techniques to meet Maison quality standards and technical specifications.
- Participate in Institute masterclasses, brand-focused visits and in-company meetings to learn Maison-specific processes, terminology and luxury standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, adhere to atelier safety and quality protocols, and collaborate with colleagues and senior tailors on workflow.
